Tubing is available from stock in the following colors:
Black, Blue and Clear in sizes from 4mm to 10mm. 12mm sizes and other colors including Red, Orange, Ocher, Yellow, Green, Light Blue, and Milk White may require a 1-2 week leadtime.
(25) Polyethylene is a popular choice of tubing for many pneumatic applications due to its flexibility, chemical resistance and low cost. Air Inc. offers high quality Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) tubing that conforms to Food and Drug Administration 21 CFR 177.1520 C where cintact with food is an issue (applies to all colors). LLDPE has a much higher resistance to stress cracking as compared to other Polyethylene compounds. It is chemically inert. Where prolonged exposure to sunlight or ultraviolet (UV) light is a concern, black tubing is recommended for extended life.
